As part of implementing the country’s high authorities orientations on strengthening commercial relations with Niger and further to SONATRACH’s signing of a Jet A1 export contract with the Nigerien Public company SONIDEP , the first deliveries of Jet A1 took place on Friday 15 August 2026 from Adrar refinery ( RA1D) to the Nigerien market.
These contractual deliveries mark the effective implementation of the commercial cooperation between SONATRACH ans SONIDEP, and are fully in line with the momentum aiming at reinforcing the relations between Algeria and Niger.
These deliveries confirm also SONATRACH’s interest in promoting direct collaboration with African oil & gas companies including those in the Sahel region , thus, paving the way to regular supplies with Algerian oil products to other countries in the region. End of Press Release
