IAP Presentation
The Algerian Institute of Petroleum specialized in the professions of the oil and hydrocarbon industry. The institute was created on 29th November 1965, With the main objective to meet the specific needs in matter of training of the energy sector and provide qualified staff.
IAP missions
As an integratal part of SONATRACH, IAP’s main mission is to support the transformation of the company, through:
Training development and retraining in the different areas of activities in the energy sector in particular, in hydrocarbons.
The organisation and implementation of training providing specialized training and diploma in the different sectors of the hydrocarbon activities.
An institution of exchange and partnership with the universities and national and international Institutes and the organisation of scientific and technical events..
A large number of educational places and accomodation close to the Company’s user structures and industrial sites, which facilitates practical training and immersion.
Adaptation to the needs and requirements of the company’s operational structures through the design of training programs oriented and targeted , based on the skills required for each profession.
Experienced and certified trainers also integrated in the teams in charge of the company’s projects so as to enrich the content of the educational material with case studies and different knowledge of the company.
Libraries in its different schools, and also a virtual library made available to the learners.
Capitalizing more than 50 years of expertise in the sector of hydrocarbons.
We have an important number of educational places and accomodation and we are also close to the user structures and the company’s industrial sites, which makes easier practical training and immersion.
