SONATRACH Group’s Chairman & CEO, Mr. Rachid HACHICHI,
received today at the headquarters of the company, a delegation from the Indian company Larsen & Toubro, led by the company’s Deputy Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Subramanian SARMA, in the presence of senior executives from both parties. During this meeting, discussions focused on projects between the two companies, notably, the construction of gas processing units in the southwest region, in Tinrkouk, Hassi Tigraine, and Hassi Bahamou, which came on stream and produced gas in 2024 and for which final acceptance procedures are currently being finalized.
The discussions also addressed prospects for future partnerships between SONATRACH and Larsen & Toubro, as well as ways to implement these collaborations. Representatives of the Indian company expressed their firm commitment to being involved in SONATRACH’s future projects, particularly by participating in the Groups’ calls for tenders.
As a reminder, the Indian company Larsen & Toubro, which head office is in Mumbai, is one of the global leading construction companies and owns extensive expertise in infrastructure project technology and manufacturing using the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model.
