SONATRACH commits to develop programs to implement climate strategy supported by objectives for reduction of emissions, in line with the ambition to achieve a balance between our Green effect gas emissions ( GES) and the absorptions by carbon wells during the second half of the century; by carrying out its missions in a responsible and safe manner , and consulting all the external stakeholders on issues of common interest.
In this perspective, SONATRACH commits to devote the necessary resources to implement its climate policy and achieve its objectives in this field.
SONATRACH commits to comply wherever it operates to the legal and regulatory requirements in matter of health, safety and environment protection, and provide the necessary resources for this purpose.
