As part of its continuous commitment in the matter of environmental and social responsibility, and in a citizen-minded approach which embodies the values of sustainability that found the SONATRACH Group, the Group’s employees as well as those of its affiliates throughout the national territory, took part in the national planting campaign of one million trees organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Fishery .

This participation took place on October 25, 2025, in response to SONATRACH’s call for all its employees to contribute to this large scale ecological initiative. The Group’s employees, particularly those working in the facilities located in and around the wilaya of Algiers, participated in the reforestation operation organized in the borough of Maâlma, at the Megtaà Kheira site. By inviting all its employees to get involved in this symbolic and noble action, SONATRACH reasserts its commitment to sustainably supporting national projects and initiatives aimed at promoting a responsible environmental culture.
