Participation of the SONATRACH Group in the activities of the Intra-African Trade Fair IATF2025, Algiers, from September 4 to 10, 2025. On the sidelines of SONATRACH’s participation in IATF2025, Mr. Rachid HACHICHI, Chairman and CEO of the Group, held a series of bilateral meetings at the headquarters of the General Management with officials from several international companies, for the purpose of strengthening cooperation and expanding areas of strategic partnership.In this context, Mr. Rachid HACHICHI received Mr. Jamil JOSEPH, Vice President of Sales at the Canadian company SpaceBridge.
The meeting was dedicated to reviewing the prospects for developing cooperation between the two parties, particularly in the fields of satellite communications and Innovative digital solutions supporting the development of the energy sector.The CEO also met with Ms. Ludovina BERNARDO, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Mozambican National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH).
This visit represented a significant milestone illustrating the strength of the relationship between the two institutions and reflecting the Mozambican partner’s interest in benefiting from SONATRACH’s recognized expertise as a regional and continental reference in the oil and gas industry.The meeting allowed to reaffirm the importance of expanding areas of cooperation and exploring new opportunities for collaboration with SONATRACH, particularly in the field of exploration and production, in order to strengthen the foundations of a balanced and sustainable partnership for the benefit of both parties.Through these meetings, SONATRACH reasserts its commitment to strengthening African cooperation and consolidating strategic partnerships based on innovation and the exchange of expertise, thus, contributing to the development of the energy industry and supporting sustainable energy security.
