The SONATRACH Group Chairman and CEO, Mr. Rachid HACHICHI, today received, at the headquarters of the company’s General Management, the members of the Committee of Economic Affairs, Development, Industry, Trade and Planning of the National People’s Assembly, led by Ms. Samira BERHOUM, Chairwoman of the Committee, in the presence of SONATRACH’s Secretary General.
During this meeting, Mr. HACHICHI presented to Mrs. BERHOUM and the members of the delegation a detailed presentation on the SONATRACH Group’s activities as well as the efforts made for their expansion, within the framework of its strategy aimed at strengthening cooperation with African companies and seizing opportunities for integration within the African economy, in line with Algeria’s commitments to its neighbors and brother countries on the continent, while enhancing the role. of the leader that SONATRACH plays on an African scale.
Mr. Rachid HACHICHI also expressed his appreciation for the complementarity and constructive communication existing between the legislative institutions and the economic enterprises in Algeria, a synergy which, according to him, serves the interests of the national economy and contributes to the achievement of sustainable development.
