Berlin, July 17, 2026,
SONATRACH and the German company Robert Bosch (Pty) Ltd, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at identifying opportunities for developing a cooperation in the green hydrogen sector.
The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the official visit of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the Federal Republic of Germany, at the invitation of his friend, H.E. the German President, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the parties will Identify partnership opportunities to develop green hydrogen in Algeria, including the manufacture of electrolysers and hydrogen production. The Memorandum allows both parties to exchange expertise and knowledge of techniques and technologies related to green hydrogen.
BOSCH is a global supplier of technology and services and a key player in the development of green hydrogen, covering the entire value chain.
