SONATRACH and the German company Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co.KG, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at identifying opportunities for developing a cooperation in the maintenance and repair of equipment, training, green hydrogen sector, and compression solutions.
The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the official visit of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the Federal Republic of Germany, at the invitation of his friend, H.E. the German President, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the parties will jointly mobilize their experts to co-develop technological solutions. These solutions aim to optimize performance and jointly explore digitalization and predictive maintenance. This cooperation also aims to promote the local development of green steel and green ammonia value chains, and facilitates knowledge exchange through technical and managerial training.
