The Chairman & CEO of the SONATRACH Group , Mr. Rachid HACHICHI , received, today, at the Headquarters of the SONATRACH General Management a delegation from the British company « John Crane », headed by its Chairman , Mr. Robin Alvarez , in the presence of the Senior Executives of both companies.
During this meeting, talks focused on projects linking the two companies, namely those relating to the supply of dry mechanical rings for compressors, as well as their installation and maintenance at SONATRACH gas complexes.
The exchanges also addressed the prospects for future partnerships between SONATRACH and John Crane, as well as ways to implement them in the field, particularly in the areas of integrated solutions aimed at improving the performance of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, motors, and turbines). The two parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the areas of reduction of emission , decarbonization, digitalization, and new energies, such as solar and hydrogen It should be noted that John Crane is a world-renowned company specializing in the supply of dry mechanical sealing solutions and systems, as well as maintenance services for rotating equipment. It is also involved in optimizing and securing the operations of pumps, compressors and turbines in the oil and gas industry.
