The SONATRACH Group announces that an accident occurred this morning at 8.00 AM on a snubbing unit belonging to ENSP, SONATRACH’s subsidiary at Hassi Messaoud Field.
The accident occurred further to a maintenance operation, during which a fire broke up on the snubbing unit.
SONATRACH intervention team proceeded to the well closing and extinguished the fire.
Currently, the situation is under full control.
Unfortunately, the accident led to the death of tow operators رحمهما الله, while four injured persons were evacuated to the different hospitals in the region.
